The iconic Goût de Diamants Brut Diamond is an elegant blend of 100% rated Grand Cru Chardonnay grapes from the rich soils of the Côte des Blancs region of Champagne, with Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes.
An exquisite lightness is obtained from the intense and silky flavors of the Chardonnay, combined with the discrete notes of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The tasting notes reflect a refreshing, floral and fresh finish. The result is a luxurious, creamy texture that is as smooth as silk, paired with a light and elegant finish – a taste much desired, or as we say, a “Taste of Diamonds”.
most expensive champagne
Most expensive champagne;Goût de Diamants, Taste of Diamonds was first presented in 2013 by British businessman Shammi Shinh, founder of Prodiguer Brands. This Champagne is the emblem of luxury, it is undoubtedly a product dedicated to a wealthy person who has chosen not to give up quality but to focus more on the majestic and captivating impact of a limited edition out of the ordinary destined to remain “alive” forever.
AN EXQUISITE EXPERIENCE
The champagne and bottle enclosure were in fact part of the Chapuy family’s ‘L’expérience du Diamant’ offering. The unique experience included: a chartered private jet to the Champagne region, luxury transportation, accommodation in a traditional French Châteaux with 24 hour butler service and Michelin Star dining, hot air balloon tours of the Côte des Blancs Region, and an intimate tasting of rare unreleased vintage champagnes with the Chapuy family from their private vaults.
Finishing & Bottling
Each of GDD Chapuy’s distinctive cuvée’s are skilfully and painstakingly crafted by an in house master Oenologist.
Primary fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, before filtering with no centrifuging for final clarification. The base wine is then bottled and crown-sealed for secondary fermentation ‘prise de mousse’ within 6 months post harvest.
Non-vintage Champagnes are created with wines that have undergone malolactic fermentation, whereas all vintage cuvées are fully vinified without malolactic fermentation to retain freshness over time.
Each bottle is then individually and gradually riddled (precisely twisted in both directions and gradually tilted from a horizontal to vertical position over time) encouraging the sediment to move into the neck of the bottle.
